New accreditation for APTOMET AG

Last week, APTOMET AG officially received its new accreditation certificate as a calibration laboratory for electrical measurements, fibre optics, pressure, temperature, humidity, and magnetic and electric fields. The accreditation is valid for the period from 14 March 2026 to 13 March 2031 and covers all previous measurement variables and calibration objects.

At the same time, the SCS directory was expanded to include measurement variables and measurement ranges.

Pressure

  • Absolute pressure in fluids: 0.01 mbar … 13.8 mbar (previously > 13.8 mbar)

Temperature

  • In block calibrator: > 450 °C … 650 °C (previously max. 450 °C)
  • In temperature chamber: -50 °C … (previously -35 °C …)

Relative humidity

  • in climate chamber at 23 °C: 20 %RH … 80 %RH (NEW accreditation)

Calibration of measuring transducers

  • Inductive voltage transducers (NEW accreditation)
  • Inductive current transducers (NEW accreditation)

These additions enable us to offer an even broader portfolio of accredited calibrations and support our partners as a central point of contact for calibration services.

In addition, with the accreditation of measuring transducer calibration, we are now an authorised testing laboratory and can also perform the initial calibration of measuring transducers via the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
